Harmony Submission Guidelines

Harmony accepts literary work (fiction, poetry, and prose shorts) and visual art from the Culver-Stockton College community for publication in our yearly Spring print issue and online.

Submission Instructions

To submit your work to Harmony, please use the following online form:

● Do not include your name anywhere in your submitted file. Because all submissions are left anonymous during evaluation by staff members, the only place you should enter  your name is on the submission form. The magazine’s advisor will be the only person to know who submitted which items before selections have been made by the staff.
● If you encounter difficulties accessing the submission form above, you may also submit directly by email to harmony@culver.edu. Attach your file(s) to your message, and in the body of email specify:
○ Name
○ Status (student, faculty, staff, or alumnus/a)
○ Titles of items being submitted
○ Contact information (e-mail address)

General Guidelines

● Students, faculty, staff and alumni may submit items.
● No item will be considered that does not have an actual name attached to it; that is, we will not
publish any item whose submitter wishes to remain anonymous or to use a pseudonym.
● If your work is accepted for publication, you will receive an e-mail by March 1 informing you of that.
● All submissions will be considered both for publication in the print edition of Harmony which is published at the end of the Spring semester and for online publication on Wildcat Wire
throughout the academic year. Selected work may also be republished in the future as
selections from the Harmony archives.
