Culver’s Day of Kindness

National Random Acts of Kindness Day to be celebrated on the Hill

Culver-Stockton College students will be able to enjoy festivities on February 17th at the National Random Acts of Kindness Day. The Diversi-T.E.A.M., CRU, Chaplain’s Office, and CPC are coming together to sponsor a number of activities, such as an appreciation wall, on which students may post their thanks for random acts of kindness that others have done, kindness stickers and chocolates, “positive-pins”, clothespins to be adorned with writing and designs to spread positivity around campus, and blank notecards on which people can write thank-you cards, which the event staff will deliver to recipients both on and off-campus. These activities will be active outside the Cafeteria at lunchtime, from 11:00 to 1:30 in the afternoon.

Additionally, guest speaker Holly Hick will be hosting the ACE event “Okay to be YOU: Having the Courage to be Yourself as a Student and as a Young Professional” Hosted at 6 P.M. in Meaders Lounge, this event intends to help attendees of all backgrounds gain the confidence to be themselves, and celebrate what makes them unique.
