Carly Harper tied her career-high with 20 points as the Culver-Stockton College women’s basketball team held off 23rd-ranked MidAmerica Nazarene for its 10 consecutive victory Saturday afternoon in Olathe, Kan.

The Wildcats, who led 44-27 at halftime, held off a furious second half rally by the Pioneers to hold on for a 74-71 victory, their second straight win at Bell Family Arena. The Wildcats haven’t won 10 straight game since the 2015-16 campaign.


The Culver-Stockton College men’s basketball team shot 38 percent from the field in an 82-66 setback to MidAmerica Nazarene University Saturday afternoon at Bell Family Arena in Olathe, Kan.

The loss is the first to the Pioneers in the last five games between the two schools. The Wildcats defeated MNU three times in 2018-19 and in the first meeting this season. C-SC drops to 4-19 overall and 3-16 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference.


The Culver-Stockton College track and field team competed in the Dr. Jim Green Invitational at Illinois College in Jacksonville, Ill., Saturday.

The women’s team posted two event championships and finished fifth among eight teams with 48 total points. Illinois College won the women’s event with 148 points. Meanwhile, the men’s team captured three event titles and placed sixth among eight teams with 55 total points. Greenville (Ill.) won the men’s side with 126.5 points.
