The Culver-Stockton College men’s volleyball team ended nearly three years of home court agony with a 25-10, 25-12, 25-12 victory over St. Louis College of Pharmacy Tuesday night at Charles Field House.

With the victory, the Wildcats won for the first time on their home court since a straight set victory over Graceland University March 26, 2018, a span of 18 total matches. C-SC, which has won three of its last four matches, improves to 3-12 overall.

A new era of Culver-Stockton College athletics became a reality Sunday afternoon as the Culver-Stockton College women’s lacrosse team played its first game against Madonna (Mich.) University at Ellison Poulton Stadium.

Though the result wasn’t what Wildcat fans had hoped for, the Crusaders defeated the Wildcats 18-1, but the excitement of a new sport on campus was very positive to the sun-drenched crowd that witnessed the first contest.

Stephen Benson and Alan Leyva captured event titles to help the Culver-Stockton College track and field men’s team finish seventh at the Heart of America Athletic Conference Indoor Championships at Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville Saturday.

The men garnered 43 total points during the event to finish ahead of five other teams. Grand View won the team championship with 175 total points. Meanwhile, the women’s team placed 11th out of 12 teams competing with 10 total points. MidAmerica Nazarene won the event with 227 points.

After struggling offensively in its first five games, the Culver-Stockton Collee baseball team busted out the offense in splitting two games Saturday in Joplin, Mo.

The Wildcats banged out 29 hits overall, including 15 safeties in a 15-6 victory over Morningside (Iowa) University in the morning. C-SC collected 14 more hits in an 8-6 extra-inning loss to Columbia (Mo.) in the afternoon session.
