The works the Ensembles performed for the concert are pieces that they will perform while they are traveling on Band Tour, a yearly trip the Music Department takes to demonstrate their musical talents. This year twenty three students will be going on Band Tour.

Bailey McNamar, sophomore Fine Arts Management major and flute player mentioned her favorite part of Band Tour, “The traveling performance part of it is fun and a really good experience. It brings the band and the music department together and it is a fun opportunity to perform in different places.”

Band Tour starts Saturday February 29th and they will be performing around Illinois until March 3rd. Their first performance will be in Litchfield, Illinois.
