Culver-Stockton College has announced the rescheduling of the recently cancelled 164th commencement ceremony.   As part of the fall Homecoming weekend, the ceremony will now be held on Sunday, October 25 at 11 a.m.

In a recent press release the College has also announced that retiring president Dr. Kelly Thompson will be the speaker and confer degrees to those seniors who return.

Thompson said that after surveying the seniors and ongoing discussion with the Senior Leadership Group, the Homecoming weekend date was preferred by over half of the respondents.

Also, the Senior Dinner will be held the preceding evening along with a dedication of the Wildcat Plaza, an area situated between the Gladys Crown Student Center and the Carl Johann Memorial Library.

The Wildcat Wire staff offers its congratulations to the graduating seniors.  The scheduled commencement was originally to be held Saturday, May 16 but was postponed due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic.
