This Wednesday’s women’s non-conference soccer game against Saint Ambrose (Iowa) on Oct. 14 has been canceled. Additionally, Heart of America Athletic Conference women’s soccer matches at Missouri Valley Oct. 17, at Baker (Kan.) Oct. 20 and at home against MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.) Oct. 24 have been postponed.

The Culver-Stockton College women’s basketball team was picked to finish sixth in the Heart of America Athletic Conference Women’s Preseason Coaches Poll, released this afternoon by the league.

The Wildcats return two starters, guard Payton Curley and forward Taylor Green, from last year’s team that finished 20-11 overall and 16-8 in the Heart. Head coach Janette Burgin, starting her eighth season at the helm, must replace nine letter-winners from the team that qualified for the NAIA Women’s Division I National Tournament for the first time since 1995.

Culver-Stockton College men’s basketball team has been picked as a long shot to claim the Heart of America Athletic Conference title.

The Wildcats, who finished 5-23 overall and 4-20 in the Heart last season, was selected to finish last in the 2020-21 Heart of America Men’s Basketball Coaches’ Preseason Poll, released this afternoon by the league.  The Wildcats return a young team with 14 freshmen and sophomores among the 17-player roster. C-SC welcomes back two starters, sophomore guard Ray Adams and sophomore forward Michael Johnson, as well as sophomore forward Jim King among its eight returning letter-winners.

The Culver-Stockton College women’s volleyball team’s returned to play after a 17 day hiatus ended in a 25-21, 25-12, 25-11 loss to William Penn University Friday night in Oskaloosa, Iowa.

The Culver-Stockton College women’s volleyball team dropped the second match of back-to-back weekend matches 25-21, 25-10, 25-19 to Grand View University Saturday afternoon in Des Moines, Iowa.

The Wildcats, who fell to William Penn Friday night, falls to 1-8 overall and 1-5 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference.

he Culver-Stockton College men’s golf team finished second at the 2020 Trojan Fall Triangular hosted by Hannibal-LaGrange University at Norwoods Golf Course Saturday afternoon.

The Culver-Stockton College bowling teams competed in the season opening Storm Navy and Gold Classic Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 17-18, at William Penn University in Oskaloosa, Iowa.

The men’s tandem of Zachary Lantz and Dalton Myers turned in top 20 finishes for the Wildcats. Lantz finished 15th overall with a pin total of 953 for five games. He had a high game of 218. Myers ended the tournament in a tie for 19th place with a total of 927 pins.

In women’s action, Carlee Hummel finished 17th overall with 830 total pins to lead the Wildcats.
