The Panhellenic Council Helps Raise Money for Hurricane Dorian Relief

Update: As of 12:30 October 9th $106 has been raised.

Culver-Stockton College’s Panhellenic Council is selling buttons to raise money for Hurricane Dorian relief until October 11th.

The Panhellenic Council designed buttons to sell to the Culver-Stockton community. There are four different buttons featuring one for each sorority as well as a button for Hurricane Dorian. They have raised over thirty dollars and counting.  The Panhellenic Council plans to donate all of the money raised to the Red Cross Relief Fund to help those who were affected by the recent hurricane.

We are such a community-orientated college why not extend this to the community as well?

Cheyenne Grissom, the Community Service Chair for the Panhellenic Council explained why they decided to sell the buttons. “I decided to help with Hurricane Dorian because we actually have a student from the Bahamas and for him to be here and have to watch all the devastation has to be hard. And we are such a community-orientated college why not extend this to the community as well.”

The Panhellenic Council will be selling the buttons outside of the dining hall during lunch and dinner, until Friday, October 11th.
